Precision alignments with direct reporting
Correct alignment is crucial for the lifespan and reliability of rotating machinery. Geomechanics performs alignments of shafts, bores, belts, and complete installations with a measurement accuracy of up to 0.01 mm – even over lengths of up to 40 metres. This includes alignments of motors, propeller shafts, cardan shafts, gearboxes, blowers, compressors, and (wind) turbines. Soft foot measurements, twist measurements, and vertical shaft alignments are also part of our expertise. Every alignment is carried out with direct reporting in PDF or XLS.
We also carry out precise GEO measurements for the assessment of flatness, parallelism, straightness, and squareness. You can also count on us for belt alignments and determining the correct belt tension (taking into account the setup, motor type, and belt type). Our alignments directly contribute to preventing excessive wear, energy loss, and unplanned downtime of your installation.
